News and Resources
NAMI of CI keeps up to date on mental health issues so we can provide you with current, valuable information. Here are some current events and news taken from our most recent newsletter.
NAMI National Convention, in San Francisco
July 5-9 our National Convention in San Francisco was attended by our leaders.
We are 30 years old!

July 21 was our 30th anniversary celebration. We celebrated this remarkable journey on Tuesday, July 21, at 7:00 PM at Trinity Christian Reformed Church, 3626 Ontario St. in Ames. We heard from some of the founding families and former directors as we looked back at our journey. We also highlighted our current support groups and educational classes as we move ahead into tomorrow. We enjoyed the time of reminiscing about the past and anticipating the future. And yes, there was cake!
